The annual Phillipsburg Railroad Festival
Please join us on Saturday August 27th from 11am till 5pm for the annual Phillipsburg Railroad Festival. Our particular event offerings include Operation Lifesaver table with handouts, Norwescap information table, antique cars, two visiting rail track speeders and a restored Henry Becker horse drawn Milk Delivery Wagon.

We will be dedicating our newly acquired 1929 historic Chestnut Ridge Mack Railbus # 51 in a ceremony at 1:00 pm.

All our passengers will be offered a cup of cold chocolate milk which was a tradition during the days our miniature Centerville & Southwestern train ride operated on the Becker Dairy Farm before the train was acquired by the Town of Phillipsburg. The train will be operated all day during the event and admission for the train ride and museum are free, though donations are always appreciated.
2024 Railroad festival
There will be an opportunity for visitors to board our restored Lehigh & Hudson River caboose as well as displays of Lehigh Valley historic railroad and station scenes, all conveniently located on our freight platform. The museum gift shop will have fresh articles of clothing and a nice array of books, gifts and children's items for sale.

Shappell Park will be the center for entertainment with food and vendors.

The restored Central Railroad of New Jersey switch tower will be open for inspection as well as the former Union Station which served as a passenger station for both the Central Railroad of New Jersey and the Delaware Lackawanna Railroad. The Delaware River Railroad Excursions will also be operating and have several trips along the Delaware.
