PRRH Lehigh Valley 14 Photo #14: Here is a photo taken at Glendon in the 1880s. The 50 “Montezuma” and the 14 “Catasauqua” with the bobber caboose are seen. At this time only passenger trains have air brakes and if you look at the back of the tenders you will see that the 14 has a air hose. It was used on freight and passenger trains and the 50 only on freight so it has no hose.
