PRRH Lehigh Valley 31 Photo #31: This photo is on the Lehigh Valley Pottsville branch in 1896.

Correction: In August 2011, I received an email from Brad Knapp and Jim B. questioning the location
of this photo. They have an excellent web site www.lvrr.net that deals with the Pottsville branch of the
Lehigh Valley Railroad and could not place this photo on that branch. After much research they came up with:
This photo is on the Lehigh Valley main at Satterly Hill Road, Burdett, NY in 1896. It appears to be the
William H. Rau photographic train.
