PRRH Lehigh Valley 33 Photo #33: The Lehigh Valley had 7 inspection engines. They were the “Cricket”, “Dorothy”, 2, 3, 4, 5 & 6. The 2 to 6 had been rebuilt from older 4-4-0 type with the “Cricket” (1870) & “Dorothy” (1886) made new. Here is the 2 at East Richards. It was made new at South Easton and rebuilt to a inspection engine there too.
