Photo #54: The LVRR 1405 is seen new at Baldwin in 1902. With what looks like an all-weather cab, you would think it was made to work at Buffalo and in fact in 1919 is listed as working the Buffalo Division. In 1905 it was renumbered 3038 and in 1925 Baker Valve gear replace the Stevenson Valve gear. The LVRR did this to a number of their older switchers in the 1920s. It was scrapped in 1930.
