Photo #64: The Lehigh Valley 1689, in this photo taken at Sayre in September 1912, was used in passenger service and has the pin strip paint job of a passenger locomotive of the Lehigh Valley. This class of locomotive was used in freight and passenger service, but only engines used in passenger service got the pin strip paint job, the rest of this class got the plain black.
