PRRH Lehigh Valley 74 Photo #74: The Lehigh Valley 2024 in this photo at Mauch Chunk in April 1940 has a PRR type train control box on the pilot. Only one train, the “Asa Packer”, used the PRR to Jersey City. This train used engines 2022 and 2023. The 2024 may have been a back up and used for special trains and on August 9 1941, it was on a passenger extra to Jersey City.
