Photo #95: In 1899 the Lehigh Valley had the biggest locomotives in the world. This did not last long, within a year the IC got the rights of having the biggest locomotive. LVRR never had the biggest locomotive after this. This Baldwin photo was taken of LVRR 681 with a small tank engine, too big and too little. The 681 became 1305 then 954.
