PRRH Lehigh Valley 73 Photo #73: In one of the other photos, I had a photo of the 2030 and told how John Brill, who was firing it, got the Lehigh Valley to replace the 2017 with the 2030. Today we have a photo of the 2017 at Easton. John told me that in using the fire hook, if it accidentally hit a stoker jet it could move and the stoker not work right then. I checked and the 2017 had a DuPont Simplex stoker put on in 1927.
